Ms. Jiye is originally from South Korea, and she earned her bachelor’s degree in Cello performance at Chung-Ang University in South Korea. Then she came to Tempe, Arizona to study music therapy. In 2016, She earned her master's degree in Music Therapy at Arizona State University. She did her internship in the schools for children with special needs and she also wrote her thesis regarding music therapy techniques for children with autism. Ms. Jiye is now working with clients of all ages as a board certified music therapist.
Ms. Nia was born and raised in Northern California. She then moved to Tempe, Arizona, and attended Arizona State University, where she was a member of the Women’s Basketball team. While attending ASU she earned her Bachelors degree in Sociology. Ms. Nia has been living in the Phoenix Metropolitan area for the last 11 years. She loves attending concerts, listening to music, playing sports and spending time with friends and family.
Shannon Farrell, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist and Owner/Director
Ms. Shannon is originally from Canada and moved to Grand Forks, ND to pursue her Masters in Speech and Language Pathology. She moved to Arizona with her son in 2009 and absolutely loves it here! Although her family still resides in Canada they have many visitors during the winter months so they don't get too lonely!
Her hobbies are hiking, swimming and walking her two dogs - Lizzie and Lionel.
Ms. Rachel was born and raised in Crystal Lake, IL outside of Chicago. She recently moved to Mesa to escape the winters! Rachel received her bachelor's degree from Augustana College and my DPT from Northern Illinois University. She has worked with kids for most of her life, starting as a nanny and now as a therapist. Rachel's true passion is with riding horses and also utilizing horses for physical therapy. She also loves to read and be active.
Special Education Teacher
Ms. Cara moved from Pennsylvania to Arizona in 2009. She earned her bachelor's degree with dual certification at ASU in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. She has worked with children who have special needs as a volunteer at church, a respite and habilitation provider, and has personal experience being a care taker of her little brother. Ms. Cara enjoys hiking, going on day trips, reading, and spending time with her husband and family.
Business Director Speech/Language Therapist
Ms. Sam is a native to Arizona, raised in Chandler. She has worked with children since 2003 and absolutely loves it! In 2014, she earned her bachelor's degree at NAU in Speech Language Sciences and Technology. She has been a therapist ever since and has worked in the school, clinic and home health settings with clients of all ages. Ms. Sam loves to read books, go hiking, watch movies and hang out with her husband and two sweet cats.
Bilingual Speech Therapist
Ms Ebony moved to Arizona 6 years ago from Houston, TX. She earned her bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Austin. After graduating she became a bilingual 2nd and 3rd grade teacher with Teach for America. When her contract with Teach for America ended, Ms. Ebony taught high school Spanish for the following two years. After moving to Arizona, Ms. Ebony decided to pursue her Master's degree in Clinical Speech Language Pathology. She is currently completing her studies at Northern Arizona University. After graduating she hopes to continue working in the clinic and home health setting with clients of all ages and meeting the needs of our Spanish speaking clients. Ms. Ebony enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and two children and managing her mommy and me play group.
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
While Ms. Danica was attending ASU for a degree in English literature, she began working as a habilitation provider for one very special little boy. It was at this point that she decided she wanted to help people like him reach their full potential. She went back to school, this time to U of A for a degree in Speech Pathology. She loves being a part of the ABLE team and helping children. Ms. Danica also enjoys learning and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Ms. Petra is originally from the Czech Republic, Europe, where she used to work as a music and fine art teacher. She earned her Master of Education in Music and Fine Art in Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. She moved to the United States in 2000 and earned her degree in Equivalency program in Music Therapy at ASU. She has been a board certified music therapist since 2013 and has worked in the school, clinic and home health settings with clients of all ages. Ms. Petra loves hiking, skiing, swimming, gardening, playing guitar and other instruments, going to concerts and hanging out with her family.
